About Piacere Trattoria Italiana

Let me introduce you to Piacere Trattoria Italiana - 653 SW 152nd St, an Italian restaurant tucked into Burien where the goal is simple: make people feel welcome while serving food that’s comforting, flavorful, and genuinely Italian at heart. From the moment you step in, the space feels relaxed and social, the kind of place where conversations linger over shared plates and no one is in a rush to leave. I like to describe the vibe as casual yet polished, perfect for a low-key dinner, a friendly meetup, or an easy date night that doesn’t feel forced. The menu leans into classic Italian comfort food, with thoughtful touches that keep things interesting, whether you’re craving something hearty or prefer lighter, organic dishes. There’s a strong sense of flexibility here too, which shows in the service options; you can settle in for a dine-in experience, grab takeaway on a busy night, enjoy delivery at home, or relax outdoors when the weather cooperates. Drinks are a big part of the experience, and Piacere Trattoria Italiana doesn’t hold back, offering everything from wine and beer to cocktails, spirits, and even coffee if you’re easing into the evening. Happy-hour food and drinks add another layer of appeal, making it easy to drop by without overthinking plans. I also appreciate how inclusive the offerings feel, with vegan and vegetarian options sitting comfortably alongside traditional favorites, plus small plates that encourage sharing and sampling. Being located right in Burien makes it an easy stop for locals and visitors alike, and the address at 653 SW 152nd St is simple to remember when cravings hit. What stands out to me is how Piacere Trattoria Italiana blends approachability with consistency, creating a neighborhood Italian restaurant that feels familiar on the first visit while still giving you reasons to explore more of the menu each time.

This place is a must go to if you're craving for Italian food. Authentic and the food is fantastic! I don't like bruschetta that much, but this place got the best Highly recommend.

Today we visited this restaurant and were very dissatisfied with the service, we were not given all the utensils, then we were not given plates for the second course, after the meal they were in no hurry to take the plates away, but the cherry on the cake was when the boy wiped the floor near our table, and then with the same towel our table and it was all in front of us. The only thing we liked was the pasta prepared by the chef in a wheel of parmesan, and also... the grilled octopus was very bitter and not tasty. On average, our check came out to $100 per person, for this amount we would like better service and tastier dishes

The pasta alla ruota here is a must-try. I had never seen anything like it before — they prepare the pasta right in front of you in a giant wheel of cheese, and it feels like a little show at your table. The presentation is impressive, but the flavor is even better: creamy, rich, and unforgettable We’ve come back several times, and every visit has been excellent. If you live in Washington or are visiting, I highly recommend stopping by this Italian restaurant

When making the reservation I asked for them to write in the plate for my mother in law birthday dessert. They did an amazing job! The food was absolutely amazing. I can’t remember all the names of the dishes but the table service pasta is to die for! Omg yum

A very authentic and delicious Italian restaurant. Nestled in the hear of downtown Burien, this place is TRULY a hidden gem. The Gnocchi was exquisite. Athens Bruschetta was fantastic and amazingly prepared. Will definitely go back! If you are looking for am upscale Italian restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere, you owe it to yourself to visit this establishment.

Really nice local Italian place, great atmosphere... we made reservations so we didn't have to wait. Parking around dinner time can be harder to get, but it's free street parking. They have an outside area to eat as well. We've been there a couple times. the food there is really good, recently, went there with some friends. Overall, the food was good. Got truffle fries to start which was excellent, super yummy. We got the lobster ravioliwith prawns, steamed mussels, lobster bisque soup and the special, which was basically, spaghetti worth prawns in cream sauce, can't remember the Italian name. All the prawns were cooked excellent, not over cooked. The steamed mussels were good, but a little salty, not their best that day, but had it before and was yummy. The lobster bisque was a little salty but great flavor with some lobster chunks. Note that I typically use less salt in my foods, so might be salted good for most people. The special was really good, simple.... we've had the fried calamari appetizers and black squid ink pasta with seafood, which was both really good. Medium priced, very nice place, good food.. nice place for dinner with friends or family.

A large variety of unique, well-prepared Italian-style dishes in a comfortable dining area (with outdoor too in good weather). Try the brussels sprouts appetizer, or the Misto Pesce (seafood). The desserts are all well-made and delicious!
